1. Put the extraction liquid and neutral liquid into the place at the back of instrument, cover them by extraction liquid cap and neutralizer cap, then, follow the operation procedure.

2. Connect to the power, start up the instrument.

3. Enter Manual Operation interface, choose “Filling neutral fuild”, observe 5 drops of neural fuild dropping from needle. (If there are not 5 drops, pleaes adjust the direction of needle slightly until 5 drops of neural liquid dropping from needle.)

4. On manual Operation interface, choose “Automatic positioning”, set the program as “fourth cup”.

5. Press “Reset” button, return to Main Menu, place the empty vessel in the first vessel position and put in “stir magnet”, select “Blank experiment”, then, the instrument will automatically load extraction liquid and drop out neutral liquid. After the experiment, the color of “Blank experiment” should be green. (After the experiment, rotate the tray by hand, and take out the oil vessel.)

6. After completion of above steps, put the empty vessel on the weigh for weighing and turning to zero. Put a certain amount of sample oil into the vessel for weighing and recording its weight(weighing 1 vessel or more vessels are OK.). Then, put this vessel with weighed sample oil in the instrument tray(in order if more vessels), choose “Preset parameter”, enter operation interface, the concentration of neutral liquid should display 0.0234mol/L (this value could not be changed.). Press “Right” direction button to move the cursor to the first vessel position; press “Up” direction button to change “No” into “Yes”; then, move the cursor to oil weight, press “Up” or “Down” direction button, input oil weight. After that, press “Confirm” button, the instrument will automatically analyze, save and print out test result.
