Furans concentration presence in aged-transformer oil has been one of the key indicators of the solid dielectric deterioration. They are the by-products from the cellulose degradation of insulation paper caused by heat, oxidation and electrical stress. Nowadays, furans concentration is commonly measured based on the standard of ASTM D5837. This analysis method provides accurate and reliable results in detecting the concentration of furan derivatives (2-acetyl furan, 2-furfural, 5-methyl-2-furfural, 5-hydroxymethyl 2-furfural, and 2-furfurylalcohol) in transformer oil. The working station of traditional furan analyzer is very complicated and requires expert persons to operate. It brings inconvenience to laboratories persons and delays measurement consequently. According to this situation, we developed a simple and intuitive working station which requires no training. Even normal perons can operate according to user-friendly interface. It largely simplified the operation and improved the testing efficiency. All our LC2010F transformer oil furan analyzers are equipped with this working station. It brings convenience to your work.
